4th Friday Board Games: Mysterium

May 26, 2017, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Join us on the 4th Friday of each month for a night of board games! May's game: Mysterium.

This game is a Librarian and Player's Top Pick!  No experience necessary, all rules will be taught.

Mysterium is a unique, fully-cooperative game for up to 7 players.   Set in the late Victorian era with a spooky and paranormal theme, unlike many co-op games it is extremely easy to play...but difficult to win!  One person plays the long-dead ghost of a murder victim while the others are "psychics" trying to figure out who caused the death, where, and how.  The catch?  The ghost can't speak!  Fail to interpret the clues correctly and the ghost will have to wait yet another year.

Like a reversed version of Apples to Apples crosed with Dixit, this game is not to be missed if you enjoy cooperative games, mysteries, the Victorian era, or Halloween!  Feel free to bring some snack food to share!  Tea sandwiches would be highly appropriate.

Registration requested so we have enough game boards.
