If you normally receive notices and alerts from the library and you use a Gmail account, you may no longer be receiving them in your inbox. Gmail recently began marking these items as spam.

To fix this, do the following:

1. Go to your Spam folder.
2. Type "Mahomet Library" in the search box.
3. Open a notice message.
4. Click on the tiny downward facing triangle in the upper right corner of the message window (right next to the date stamp and reply button).
5. Click on "Add Mahomet Public Library District to Contacts List."
6. Return to your Inbox.
