Mahomet Public Library Clerk/Shelver

Seventeen hours/week including weekend hours. Perform a variety of library circulation and clerical procedures; assist patrons in using library services and technology; accurately shelve library materials; various related clerical duties. Position begins in November.

Required: Applicant must be friendly and personable, have excellent shelving skills, typing proficiency, and technology expertise. High school degree; some college preferred. Two years of library, customer service or equivalent work experience required. Benefits include paid time off and retirement plan.
